Help Us Find More Dirt!

You may have a RallyCross site and not even know it.

CFR RallyCross is always looking for places to race throughout Florida. We don’t need a racetrack. A large field, fairground, gravel area, or other piece of open property may be worth a look.

If you own or manage a property—or just know of one that looks promising—we’d like to hear about it.

What exactly are we looking for?

RallyCross is racing against the clock on a temporary course laid out with cones. Cars run one at a time, so we need enough usable space to build a safe course and operate the event around it.

There isn’t one magic acreage or one perfect kind of property. The shape of the usable area, surface, drainage, access, surrounding property, fixed objects, and other site conditions all matter.

Don’t try to decide for us whether your property is good enough. Send us the location and let us take a look.

It doesn’t have to become a racetrack

Our courses are temporary. We set up for the event, run the event, and take the course back down when we’re finished.

Before we use a property, we want to understand where we can and cannot operate, how the property is normally used, any sensitive areas, access restrictions, neighboring uses, and what the owner expects from us.

What happens to the property?

We race cars on dirt, so we’re not going to pretend the surface is untouched. Tires move dirt, grass can wear, and weather can make a big difference in what happens during an event.

That’s a conversation we want to have before we race there. Surface conditions, drainage, weather limits, areas that are off-limits, cleanup, and any restoration expectations should all be understood before an event goes on the calendar.

What about safety and insurance?

CFR RallyCross operates through the Sports Car Club of America. SCCA-sanctioned RallyCross has established rules and procedures for event safety, course design, waivers, sanctioning, and event insurance. We can go through the applicable details with a property owner or manager while evaluating a site.

What do you need from the property owner?

To start? Not much.

Send us the location, tell us what you know about the property, and give us a way to contact you. You don’t need measurements, engineering drawings, or any motorsports experience.

If the site looks promising, we can talk through the details together.

Why give RallyCross a home?

A good site gives people a place to compete, learn, volunteer, make friends, and enjoy motorsports in a controlled event instead of trying to find somewhere else to do it.

Our drivers and volunteers travel from around Florida, and events will bring people into nearby restaurants, gas stations, hotels, and other businesses. That’s a nice side effect. The real reason we’re looking is simpler: we need good places to race.

Know a place?

Whether you own the property, manage it, know the owner, or just drive past it every day thinking, “That looks like a good place for RallyCross,” send it to us.

One event, a few events, or a place we can come back to for years—we’re interested in the conversation.
